Adveq Holding AG becomes a fully-owned subsidiary of Schroders, operating under the brand name Schroder Adveq
Schroder Adveq becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Schroders plc and the investment manager of the Group’s private equity funds. It was acquired by Schroders on 31 July 2017 and is fully embedded in Schroders’ organizational and governance structure. It is a key part of Schroders Private Assets business that also includes real estate, infrastructure finance and private debt.
FINMA license
Schroder Adveq Management AG becomes an asset manager of collective investment schemes authorized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), thereby authorized to manage and distribute the Schroder Adveq funds in and from Switzerland.
SFC license
Schroder Adveq Management (Hong Kong) Limited is licensed by Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to carry on Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 4 (advising on securities) regulated activities.
Signing of Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Schroder Adveq utilises the PRI framework to evaluate and improve its own ESG principles and measures. The firm integrates ESG principles into its management approach, as well as into the products and services it offers to clients.

The controls related to Schroder Adveq’s investment management, fund administration and information technology practices are compliant with ISAE 3402 Type 2, an internationally recognized assurance on controls reporting.

Schroder Adveq registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act.
Launch of Adveq Asia program
The Adveq Asia program focuses on fund managers investing in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to launching its first Asia fund, Schroder Adveq made investments in Asia through its other funds. The first Asian investment was made in 1998.
